I am not fond of the fanny pack or the apron for my finds. It may not be a good thing to do but I put gold or silver in my left pocket and pennies and bullets in my right. Then I keep a plastic sack in my left rear pocket. So when anyone ask. Did you find anything? Of coarse the first thing I show them is the trash then the pennies That's it that's all they get to see. Does anyone else have a good method for stowing their finds?

I bought a Minelab pouch and really like it. It has two outside pockets, one is open, one is kept closed with velcro. The trash goes in the open one and all my other stuff goes in the velcro one.
Seems to work for me, Beale. |

Pretty much the same as everyone else....I never show anyone the good stuff while I'm in the field...keeps folks from trying to lay claim to the finds...

I use cargo pockets. I'm still looking for that "perfect pouch"...

I don't like fanny packs, either. I've used an apron, but have since started using a very nice tool pouch. I also have a fishing vest that I've used. It's pretty cool, but I don't use it often because I need to cut the strings out from the inside of the pockets. It has TONS of pockets.
