Default This may help some

We have owned several detectors and all had great features but we have settled on the IDX pro, we have had a garrett 2500 and a garrett 1250 and they was good but the first detector we owned was a white and it was a classic 2 and we found a lot of stuff but we upgraded to a IDX classic and we did even better, but we was unhappy with the whites classic's , they did not have volume control, we solved this with a set of head phones we bought online cheap and cut them off and mounted the one headphone on the detector if we hunt where we need to be quiet we just plug the headphone in , u can hear it well but it does not disturb anyone around, u have a extra one u saved and so far we have used the same one for over a yr and we hunt some really tough spots sometimes, hope this may help some of u without a volume control........jack
