Welcome Cash1977, I would check the back posts on beach hunting for some tips..WE do beach hunt where I am at and I use an Whites XLT for just sand and a Whites PI just for water...I use a scoop to retrieve coins and such from the beach area and I use head phones because of a hearing problem that I have...I have a small scoop for the beaches and I have made a big 8 inch wide scoop for water hunting..Hope this helps out with any questions you might have and welcome again to Treasure Quest....Buster...

Hello & welcome to TQ, Cash, there are a couple of other people in south Fla on here, I'm in the panhandle & the beaches are great to hunt here, any beach down there should be just as good, just go where the tourists & partiers are & have been, good luck to you!
