Default Another Use For Tumbler

Hi guys picked this tip up in another forum, i have always used the tumbler for coins only, until tonight when i saw how another guy used it for cleaning his silver jewelry.
Well i have an ice cream container filled with silver that i have found in the ocean over the years and its all black with silt built up and other materials encasing the silver, really i didn't have a clue how i was going to clean it until now.
Here's the result of the first batch after 3 hrs tumbling..

Wow! Did a good job. I don't think you would want to do that to things with Opel or turquoise in it. Too soft.

Hi guys, yes i should have mentioned that..
white aquarium gravel, but don't use as much as you would for coins, about a cupful of beach sand and a squirt of dishwashing liquid, and tumble for about 3 hrs ,of course the chains will get tangled up and you will need patience for sorting them out afterwards...
