Hi Folks!
There's a lot to be said about hunting the banks of swimming holes, and also the trails leading to them. Think about it for a moment: Folks sometimes pitch a blanket on the banks, or are taking clothes off and putting them back on. Sometimes they do this on the fly for obvious reasons, and goodies will go flying everywhere! So far this year, all of my ring finds have been at swimming holes, on the banks. You wouldn't believe how much coinage is scattered on the paths near the banks. One spot was the jackpot! I couldn't go more than a few feet without hitting coins. And wouldn't you know it, there was a beautiful, Sterling silver ring just under the surface on the bank. HH! -Tom |
