Hi Mr.Silver,
You've touched my heart my friend.
Even though things look not so good, there can be a bright tomorrow for you. Get it in your mind that your situation will get better and it will

As the weather warms and you'll be able to get out more this will help too.

Will be praying for you,

Greg

I have a site which was an Elizabethan (16th century) house. As you can imagine it has one or two nails as well as all the usual ferrous junk. Although the site is now pasture it has been ploughed on several occasions just to mix everything up a bit more. All my previous detectors have failed to find anything in this mess but my latest machine just keeps on finding the non-ferrous.

Default Trashy area?

I hunt these areas clearing all the shallow junk I can and then go back with my 4 1/2" coil that will seperate out the targets pretty well. It just won't go as deep as my regular coil. If I am finding some goodies I might even go back with my 14" coil and discriminate out iron and pull tabs for deeper targets. I use a Garrett 2500 for these jobs. Monty

Caution, there: The heat of soldering will severely degrade the magnetic pull of the magnet. Suggest you use superglue or epoxy cement instead.
