Default Keeping up with your hunting partner.

Hunting unfamiliar grounds can be intimidating at times, not to mention having someone new hunt your spots with you that does not know the lay of the land.

Garmin makes a hand held radio with a built in GPS system (Rino series), I have two of them and when I have someone hunting with me that does not know the area I give them one to use. It will show each user where the other one is via GPS technology.

You can also mark waypoints as well as your starting point (vehicle location) so at the end of the day you can get back to where you started.

These things are awesome, if you do not use them check them out.

Default Yes they are, but well woth it.

They are around $150.00 each BUT I bought two used ones for $150.00 some time back.

I had a small problem with both of them and called Garmin to see if they would repair them. Although I was not the original owner and they were out of warranty they told me to send them back and they would repair/replace them at no charge to me (great customer service).

They should arrive back this Wednesday and I am sure the will be good as new (if not new).

Chuck at Treasure Hut just bought two so he can verify the current price better then I can.
