Default dateless standing liberty quarters

i hear that there is a chemical solution to bring back the dates on slqs.
anyone know what it is? lets face it, a dateless one is only worth its melt value, so youve got nothing to lose.

that only dates, etc. can be brought back out when they were engraved. In the case of coins the dates and letters are raised not engraved into the metal.
