Default Would like to see this...

My Minelab has about all the features I need but I would like to see them add:
  • A compass
  • A clock
I think these would be great features to have on any detector.

Thats okay Rob, anyone can post in any topic or catagory regardless of the detector they use

Maybe I should ask Minelab about this?

Greg,A compass sounds like a great idea, but a clock,I usuly dont pay no mind to time when im ticking as that is one of the reasons to get out and relax and not worry about the time(unless im under water then it could be important)

hey how about a radio to, you could listen to the ball game, and when you get a signal the radio cuts out and the tone rings in? Seriously tho i think an alarm clock setting would be great. HH Ken

Not a bad idea, not bad at all. I for one would love to see waterproof housings made for all brands and model MDs so you could take a land machine in the water without worry of dunkin it. Yeah I know you could use a plastic bag, but I'm talking about a real clear, hard case just like you can get for cameras. Sure would save me from having to buy a water machine.

Greg,

A clock would be good, so you dont go missing your favorite shows or anything. A compass wouldn't be all that useful on such a device that uses electrical currents and has small induction coils built in, will give a false north or south reading. Unless you are talking about a GPS type of compass that uses a satellite to receive direction only!
