Minelab Detectors
I'm Thinking About Getting A Minelab Explorer Xs Or A Quattro Mp. Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions, Or Other Ideas. I Will Be Hunting In Maryland Mostly Just Soil, Wooded Areas. Please Let Me Know. Thanks.

Hi Miller, The Minelab Quattro is a great machine if you are not in a hurry to cover some ground. It is a deep machine and very simple to setup and use.
The Explorer line is fantastic! I think you would want the Explorer Miller. It has many more features and you can customize it to your liking and style of hunting. The Quattro can be a bit quirky. go with John's suggestion and get an SE.

well i bought the minelab explorer XS detector.
eBay: Minelab Explorer XS Metal Detector Package (item 250084053712 end time Feb-17-07 18:25:42 PST) does anyone think i got a good buy. let me know. i cant wait to try it out.

Minelab detectors
I don't know too much about the 'tectors mentioned. I have just bought an XT50, should get here tomorrow or Tues. Anxcious to receive and try irt, but , I guess I'll have to wait a while, there's 8 inches of snow on the ground here in Ontario at the moment.
