Minelab SOVEREIGN The Minelab Sovereign series of Minelab detectors, the most current of which is the Sovereign GT, is a BBS machine transmitting and receiving 17 different frequencies at once. Sovereign is the "senior citizen" of the Minelab line. Without a digital ID LCD screen, the Sovereign utilizes Accu_Trak digital ground balance with selectable fixed or automatic options. Iron Mask mode allows the detection of good targets next to ferrous metals. Discrimination and notch filtering rounds out this outstanding performer that happens to come in a more traditional "switch & knob" package.

Thumbs down Modified Meter

I have the 550 Meter on my Solv elite. I had heard that there was a mod you could do, change it to 180 for the highest reading.
Anyone got a clue, or would I be better off buying a new meter?
Thanks LR

Hey LR,

Here is a link on how to do it. If you have the skills, it makes sense rather than buying a new meter.

rescaling

Hope this helps, and good hunting,
Otto...
