| Minelab X-TERRA SERIES 30, 50, & 70 The Minelab X-Terra Series of metal detectors are Minelab's newest entry to mid-level metal detectors. In keeping with the "High Technology" theme that is this company, X-Terra is no exception. Utilizing the VFLEX Technology, Minelab has created a new class of single frequency detectors. Light weight, easy to use, and high powered, two of these incredible detectors, are actually able to transmit and receive a different frequency with just the change of a coil. Microprocessors in both the coil and the Control Box allow both to communicate with each other. Depending on your intended target type and size, just pick your coil and frequency. |

I have the Xterra-70 I purchased from John. I definatly recomend this detector to anyone. It is so easy to hunt what ever you are looking for, The digital display help out tremendously. I can always tell what I am goin to dig, The only exception is aluminum, that is all over the place.

John,
Serg was going to get the Musketeer, he decided on the Soveriegn, he wishes he didn't. He really wants an xterra-50 or70. A freind of mine got an xterra-50 it is really nice to. I am not sure where he got it. I told him about your site, but didn't think he was going to get one. How much is the musketeer?, serg might get him one even though he has the soveriegn gt. Thanks, Joe Kerchner illinoismeteorites.com

Hi Joe, there is no doubt that Serg has an excellent machine in the GT but it is just a different animal compared to your X70. Yes the X50 is also an excellent machine and is well worth it's cost. I am very pleased with the Musketeer and it's performance and here again it is much different from an Xterra. But if one is able to take the time to learn the language of this machine then it will serve it's owner well. The Musketeer is analog and very basic in it's operation but the user has to get used to how it really works. If Serg likes the Xterra 70 then the Musketeer might not be what he is looking for. I would recommend the Musky to anyone that is satisfied with basic features and has an analytical style of detecting. It also goes deep and while it is a great relic machine it still finds coins easily. The Musketeer is 499.95 and you choose the model you want, the 10" or 8" coil. Ok Joe tell Serg I will be very happy to help him out with his questions and needs, remember he also got my services when he bought the GT. Ok Joe I sure am glad to hear from you again and I wish you Happy hunting! CU later. John Tomlinson,CET John's Detectors P=VI |

Thats a nice site you have, Joe. Really interesting and well laid out. I was having a little problem figuring out the sizes of the meteorites in the gallery until I started seeing the coins and cards that helped me distinguish the sizes. Then I ran into some scary pictures of little kids, or maybe little aliens you found with the meteorites.

I was using a 1cm scale cube, but it is MIA. If/When I find it I plan on re-shooting most of them, expecially the ones with no scale cube in the photos. I hope to find it soon, but it has been gone for quite a while now. I have many new meteorites that need to go in my gallery and the My Collection page. I am very happy to hear that you like my site.
I found them monsters on one of my night hunts, I took them home and talked Missy into letting me keep them. They will get ya if you do not beware.LOL ![]() If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I will not get upset no matter what is said. Thanks in advance, Joe K
