Default Rare 2007 Gold Presidential Coin (rare find)

My wife has found what we believe to be a rare coin. She found a 2007 presidential coin and not only does it not have a head or tail but it does not have anything on the edges. It is simply a gold coin, smooth all the way around. Does anyone have any idea how much this coin may be worth? Thank you for your input.
