Smile Hello from Patrick, in Idaho.

Hello everyone. my name is "Patrick". i can't say that i am new to metal detecting, i have had some experience, dating way beck to about 1970+ with a whites TR-63, it served me well, i got it from a pawn shop for $35. then some months later from the same pawn shop i acquired a whites coin master IV, for the same amount. those served me well(tho they collected dust for several years). then in 1979 i bought a new garrett american. now i have acquired a "tesoro sidewinder micromax", a pawn shop find for $40, i had to redo(repair) the arm rest. does anyone own one of these machines, or acquainted with them ? i e-mailed the "tesoro" company and they sent me a user manual(free) very nice of them. i will send them a "thank you" e-mail tomorrow.
my machine has the standard 8" concentric coil on it, and i am thinking to purchase a 4" coil, or maybe a 5.75" coil(if they make one that size for it). most of my detecting will be "play grounds", "parks", and etc; and here in this valley there is and old field that once was the site of an old "out-door movie drive-in", it closed in the very early 80's. it may well hide some interest finds, as well as a lot of "junk",...as would be expected in such a place.
thank you very much for any information you can pass my way.
"may the blessings be",.... "Patrick"
