Default Yeah, I am new...

I am getting an Ace 250 for my birthday!

I have never had a detector before. I am planning on practicing in my yard, there use to be a road through it over 50 years ago and the neighborhood was a campground until about 20~25 years ago.

I live in Cumming, GA. Are there any places arround that are open for mding?

Great!

The kids are going to have as much fun as me, but I may wind up getting them a radio shack model.
