Hello everybody,
My name is Evans. Yes,that is my first name. I am new to metal detecting.(about two months) I have an Ace 250 which I like, and I just got a Tesoro Tejon. I used the Tejon for the first time this weekend. It will take some practice to get use to it,however I do really like it. I really enjoy Treasure Quest. You guys are the Greatest. I have gotten alot of good information from this site and the forums here.So far I have only found clad coins. I have been MDing at the beach but haven't found much. I'm sure that I'll have more success when the beaches get busier. Well, you all have fun MDing, and may all the ground east of the Mississippi thaw out soon !!

Default Costa Mesa!!!!

Hey Evans and welcome to TQ I live in Laguna Hills, so we're neighbors. Glad to meet you. I also have an Ace 250 and got it around the first week of Feb. I haven't found much more than clad and junk, but it sure is fun. I went to Aliso beach one evening and didn't find much, either, but I just need to get out there more. I am thinking about going to Laguna Beach this weekend, maybe Saturday morning, to try and find some goodies. Good luck and please let me know if you find anything good! I think we're the only 2 so cal people on here.
