Default New to Detecting

Just got my first detector about 3 weeks ago and have went out every weekend since I have had it. Today was a nice day outside so I went to a local school and found 2.90 in clad, many penciles ends, a small peice of some kinda metal tube, a set of keys, the end of a 12 gauge shell, I Think i am starting to get the hang of it digging in the trashy area's I have tried so far. I look forward to learning all that i can here.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Hope you have as much fun with the M6 as i am and sounds like your off to a good start. Get yourself a small coil and you'll be surprised at what pops through the trash. Any questions just ask as there are a few on here that use an M6 i think HH Bill

Looks like I am going to head down towards the gulf this weekend after I get off work Fri. and see how I can do on the beach. I have a friend that lives there and said all the collage kids were there this past weekend for spring break. I will post back Sunday night and let you know how i did.
