Talking It's Heeeere!!!

Garrett is here and alll put together! Of course it's 11:30 at night and I don't have a miner's helmet but I went right close to the door and swung and listened to the beeps. Then I ran in the house and grabbed some plastic tent stakes so I could mark the places he beeped. Tomorrow I'll go see what's out there. I'm rather expecting a lot of roofing nails but a couple of the beeps were more like high squeals. I'll be happy to bounce out of bed tomorrow and be able to watch the indicators while I'm listening to the different sounds. And just the fact that I actually said, "bounce out of bed" is really something. I am not a jump up and greet the day kinda gal. lol

One of the wild cats is infatuated with Garrett and was stalking as I was swinging. It's going to take my big protector, Scandal, a little while to get used to it. She wanted to run inside and jump on the bed, which she did. She likes to walk through the field and look for junk but I am not sure MDing will be her joy.

Hopefully I'll have some finds to show you all this weekend. Even if it's a handful of roofing nails and pull tabs. Hey, those pull tabs will be artifacts some day.

Default Good luck

Hope you find lots of great stuff. If pull tabs will be worth something someday then I will be rich.

Thanks, gordiesgirl and Chuck.

I should have watched the DVD before I took it out but I was too excited. Now I'm just frustrated so I guess I'll watch the DVD. In a little over an hour the only signal I ever pinned down was a piece of foil.

Oh, my yard crew is not going to be happy with me! I used to be able to blame the digging on the dogs. Wonder if that will still work.

Default Congrats

on your new Garrett. You mean you could actually be able to sleep. I'd have to have the coffee pot working overtime. Good Luck in the morning and you can always blame those holes on Phsycic Phenomena. Save those roofing nails for when you need your next roof, that way you already have some of the materials.lol.
