I haven't found much lately at lake Lewisville, Toadie !!!
Jacksboro highway has ALWAYS had some what of a reputation !!! Now the dumping of the slot machines, if it hadn't been for the rain lately, we could be picking them off the beach !!!

Toadie
Just got back from a business trip to LA. The only gold involved in my trip was the color of the air and what it cost me to stay in a hotel for the week!
In response to your question, Toadie, I live at Midway and Royal (near north Dallas). Would like to find rural places within an easy week-end drive to try out the MD. Somewhere on this forum I saw some comments about east Texas being a good area, but can no longer find that posting or any specifics location-wise. Any specifics on city/town location will be greatly appreciated. If any veteran MD'ers would tolerate having a newbie along on some short trips to detect, that also would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Locations Near You
I know the area well... My ex father in law lived over off of Walnut Hill and the Tollway and I used to work over off Composite Drive (old restaurant row) right across the street from Dave and Busters... At a Hydraulic and Industrial Hose Company.... for 11 yrs. Miss the job and the guys I worked with, but don't miss the traffic.
