I looked on " metal detectors news & reviews " only had 2, ! Pos., 1Neg.My personal opinion is to Keep playing with it and I'm sure with a little practice you'll be able to answer that question yourself. If you find your not happy with it then you could either keep it as a back-up detector & get something else or sell it and get something that you can get more imput on. For the money I think you may be happy with it once you learn what it's telling you. Thats the #1 thing with any detector no matter if it cost a little or a lot. If you don't learn the machine it won't matter what your swingin. Just my humble opinion. You could also look to see if there are any Forums for that Brand of detectors and see what the feedback is on them.

We'll I tried lookin around and as you stated, no imput outside of what I posted above. Are reviews on the 2000 & 3000 models & It's apples vs. oranges as usual. Sooooooo It does have a 5yr. warranty and for the price I think you'll be happy if as I said above you learn the machine. Example ... I picked up a couple Pioneer EX's for kids in the family to use. $100.00 detectors and they suprised me. Now they don't go real deep and I wouldn't try them on any serious hunts if I'm looking for Deep Stuff BUT in my Opinion They work pretty darn good for the money. If you find your not happy with it ( after you drive it for awhile ) then do as above or what you think is Right for YOU. Hope this helped & I didn't confuse you cuz I do myself llthe time

OK as a get into the hobby detector but not considered a good detector for deeper targets . It will find you a lot of clad coins but in my opinion finding just a lot of clad coins gets old fast. I would want to find the older and deeper targets eventually and this detector will not do it for you.

Axeman, You got your detector from Kellyco and I have nothing Negative to say about them as I had bought detectors & accessories from them and never had a problem, But since I have been here in TQ I have been dealing with the Sponsors here and can honestly say that if You make another detector purchase, THEY are the one's you want to deal with. You'll get more personal attention & support then anywhere else. My Personal Opinion.
