Default Garret GTI 2500

My dad and i are planning to buy a metal detector soon. Dear old dad thinks we need the most expensive one he can find. He has his eyes set on a Garret GTI 2500. What do you guys think? Will be used mostly for coin hunting maybe find some buried treasure(jar full of coins ect). thanks

Welcome to the forum , family and the hobby. There are quite a few detectors out that can do a great job at treasure hunting. The Garrett 2500 is one of them and the deal on them right now is a good one. I would like to ask you to call me and we can discuss what your needs are and get you hooked up with the proper equipment.
It isn't always the higher or highest priced detector that will best fit your needs. You need to come to a couple conclusions first. Where do you want to hunt mostly such as land or beach. What do you want to hunt for mostly such as coins, relics nuggets etc. And of course what your budget will allow.
Please give me a call or your number in a private message and I'll be glad to take care of whatever you need.
Thanks for joining the forum. You'll love it.

Hello Nutz, I am also a forum sponsor and if I can be considered by you and your Dad to help you make a detector purchase I would look forward to it. The GTI2500 is a lot of detector but knowing how to put it to use is the better part of the program. Ok I hope to be of service and may God Bless you both.
