My first silver quarter
Found my 1st silver quarter!!!! It was only about 5" down, and it was a Washington quarter 1939, and in very good condition.

Yes, I am new, and it is the 2nd time I found silver, a Mercury Dime was my 1st. I'm amazed at how clean silver comes out of the ground compared to clad coins.

Went detecting by a small lake in a state park, found 5 quarters, 6 dimes, and 16 pennies all clad, so no good digs today
