Default Howdy Y'all

Been banging around on the net for a few weeks looking at this and that and came to the conclusion I need help.

Looking at the DFX, GTI range of MD, but could be persuaded into another.

I do geocaching (hope that is not a dirty word here) and started with a base unit. Out grew out of that in about thirty minutes and stepped up for the big boy GPS. So I think this time I'll start out a bit higher and avoid the "donated to the wife unit".

There is a club in OKC I intend to chase down and go to some meetings to see what is being used by the members, and maybe get some hands on. I guess in the OKC area Wayne's is the store to go to, any others?

Just wanted to say hello.

Howdy . Check out the minelab xterra x-70, I absolutely love mine. Ask the sponsors they are awesome, carry tons of brands, and have amazing customer service. What is geocaching?

So where are the other two posts. Said the admins were going to approve them. Am I just out to lunch, or are the admins.

Guess I had better not get in the dog house before I have a buddy here that will get me out.

Wife and I went caching today and found an old cabin out in the woods, looks like prime MDing area, I need an MD fast. Anybody got a loaner DFX for a few years?

Welcome to the forum and the hobby Thumper. You have found one of the best sites on the net.

Julie, I was wondering the same thing, so I looked it up.

Geocaching is an outdoor sport that involves the use of a Global Positioning System ("GPS") receiver to find a "geocache" (or "cache") placed anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small, waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure". Geocaching is a unique take on an earlier game called Letterboxing in that it uses two recent technologies, the GPS and the Internet. Participants are called geocachers.
