Default Waiting (Im)patiently

I love UPS...I really do. But when they have my new detector in transit, they're just WAY TOO SLOW.

But tomorrow is supposed to be the day it arrives. I can't wait!

Bad thing is...I'm going camping in New York on Thursday for the weekend and won't be back until Monday. I'd take my detector along, but the ground where we're going is hard as a rock. And since I only see these people once a year, I should be social and not wander off by myself :)

Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until next week to do some serious detecting.

I know how you're feeling. UPS was LATE with mine, when I ordered it. I was fit to be tied, I tell ya!! You'll be able to swing it soon enough. You should most definitely take it with you and try to do a bench test and read that manual over and over. That will help you immensely once you really start to hunt.

Good Luck!

Wow. UPS is the only one I trust down here. Packages come in on time and not damaged. Fed. X I get them but the packages look like the were thrown out the plane at 20,000 feet. U.S. Parcel service in 6 months I received 5 empty packages. 3 missing coins, one missing ring, and a empty box that was suppose to have a used metal detector. My heart sank when she gave me that empty box.

Have fun on the trip and enjoy the company of friends and family.. Good things come to those who wait.......but sometimes it takes longer than we expect.

It finally got here today :)

But of course, I got out of work late, and had the evening full of things to do. By the time I got it out of the box and put together, I only had 15 minutes of semi-daylight left to play.

I did go out in the yard and dug a couple of holes, but didn't find anything.

Then I came inside and read the manual and watched the video. I'll try again tomorrow, when I have a little more time.

From what I've seen of it so far, I think I'm gonna like this Ace 250.
