Posting Pics!!??

Okay, I'll admit it, I don't know a lot about computers and I'm hoping you can help. I'd like to post some pics on this site and can't, as It says my pic's exceed the size limits.

I have Nikon 8.1 MP point-and-shoot and normally just download my pic's straight onto my PC via from SD memory card. I then try to download my pics onto this site from my computer and it won't let me.

Can anyone tell me (in detail), what I'm doing wrong and How to get my pics on here?

You need to download a program to resize it...here is what i use...Irfanview.com....good luck...

I use Photo Razor, its a free down load,Good Luck

You can also save the Picture to "My Pictures" and from there right click on the photo. Choose resize to "Medium" 600x800. then just upload to a post..

Posting pics is easy.. make sure they are in lower quality/size or it won't allow you to upload.

Download and install it from the menu on the right

Once you have them sized create a new post and click the paper clip icon, next to the smiley face. It will open a window and you can browse to your pics and upload them.

Don't feel alone - I've had problems posting pics as well...still working to get it "just right" - but at least I'm getting them to post now - good advice from the folks who've responded...you'll get the hang of it!
