Congrats on the new machine! I think it's a sign, since the guys lives so close, that you really should take some time to get to know this older gentleman. Maybe take a lunch over to him and start talking about the hobby. I bet he really would get a big kick if you took some of your first finds, no matter how small, to show off.

Excitement is very infectious. HH!!!

What everyone else said about taking the man hunting or to lunch. I think it would be nice to keep him posted on your finds, even taking them over so he can live vicariously through them.

My mom's in a nursing home, and what I see so many of them desiring the most is having visitors.

Default Good Deal on Detector

Congrats on the detector. When I pursched mine, I was advised to rope off an area of 20X20 feet, and I should get at least 50 targets. I went to a beach in Aurora (we even have beaches in Colorado) , my son and I dug 32 targets. Just a way to learn your detector. It is a blast, and I cannot wait for weekends. Jerry

Great deal and congrats on the machine. Don't give up on your yard. Everytime your digging up trash, your making it easier to find the coins. Good luck and don't be afraid to dig all your tones. It will help you get to know your machine.

WOW - sounds like you've been digging in my yard! But keep at it - there's always something where ever you look!

Congrats on the ACE - if it's anything like the 250 you're going to LOVE IT!!

No coins or anything of value. Maybe next time!
