now it is on yup you know it once I teach you how to use that new (TOY). We will find a plenty. Hey, My friend got a license for gold hunting and In SC there are no metal detectors allowed on any of the gold sites. BUMMER I will call you soon for The hunt let me know when you get that MXT:grinningelf:
Mccormick, SC sits on the largest gold mine around. Havent ever heard about a license for gold hunting. the only places near us would be just North and east of Cloumbia and Edgefield McCormick area In SC as i have done much reseach on this. However Road blocks at every turn makes almost impossiable to dry wash or sluths or even panning. However I have a few idea's... wink wink

Great choice on the MXT, I currently use the M6 but have been thinking about upgrading to the MXT. You are absolutly correct, the research and the reviews are very positive. Now post those pics I want to see it in action. Good luck.

Sorry bout that Shortgrass, It's not on the MXT section on the front page here, If you go to Yahoo or Google and type in MXT detector forums you will get a list of sites and about 3/4 of the way down you'll see where that site is listed, just click on that and you'll have it. Very very Informative on the MXT.

Congrats on your new machine! Let us know what you think about it...I've narrowed my choices for a new machine to either the MXT or DFX...

thats a Big 10-4 -Shawn. But you know, I am a new player... Im will only be able to judge it against the BH202.. which I so0o0o very sure will be 10x the machine. However as a new player that looking to spend much of my free time learning this Hobby per say.. I dont want to let my discouragement be blamed on my machine. which i saw comming... so I just nip'd that in the bud..with this machine.

Going thru the manual, it will be more a chore learning the machine, which I knew a head of time. which is one of the reasons I almost got the Prizm 5.
I went ahead and Got the MXT and spent the extra cash because of the resale value. Because Im either going to be in 100% or nothing... It will take about a year to find out if I really want to stick with it. The only thing I foresee is running out of places to hunt. If I cant find productive places to hunt, I'll have to find something else.
I use to hunt deer and stuff, but I gave it up, because of the problems, plus I cant stand the cold anymore and Killing animals kinda bothers me now, unless you need food.

I also my only Child Creation doesn't get to spend time with me; when I went deer hunting.

He is a Christmas pup, so he will be 3 yrs this Christmas. :reindeer:
He is 50% pure Lab and 50% Pure Dane.
He is only 1.5 yrs here.

hehe....... Now he is 100% Famous!

he watches my back..

I can't believe I just now saw this post! I was wonderin' whatever became of all that excitement you had about getting a new machine! Glad to know it all worked out! I'm so glad we could help, and I'll pass the kudo's on to Tony. This is so exciting! Good job on the research, and I'm lookin' forward to what you find! :santahat:

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!
