Default For the New Guy..

Man if your anything like me, buying is a pain. If I am spending more for an Item than I do my house payment.. I just have to know what im getting for, that kind of money.

as a New Guy I went thru every detector out there and then some. Im I an expert, umm " no "

But I did read for hours and hours for days! I even bug'd all these very kind folks on this forum; with a little more reading a experience I could be a Sales Rep for Whites. Only because I can sell a Snow Cone to a Eskimo.

I know the difference between a sales pitch and a Honest sales person putting a reputation on the line. Way to go there "Tony". However that wasn't what lead me to Kellyco.
In my search for the right value for the bang, I noticed that industrial metal detectors all have a component/control box that process the data.

To me to this was the key.. several factors came into play.
Production=less time looking and digging.
Enjoyment= display and dead on readings and tones!
Raw Power= AA12V vs 9V and signal.
Options and Control= men just like to be in control..lol
Looks " eye candy effect"= I like White design plain and simple.

I finally it boiled down to a few to choose from,
F4- f75 from Fisher. < Really liked after doing the reading.
Older Model QXT or Clasic5 ID. < was willing to settle for.
Prizm 5.. which I was all set to buy. However that don't make these easy to online.
then came the Matrix M6... a bit out of price range. Liked it a lot from the moment I saw it.

After all the research I did, another key was resale value! Im likely to change my mine .. and I want to know I can resale it.
Yes you are paying a bit more for White because of the name, but that comes with knowing you wont worry about be stuck with something your not using. Big Point with me, seeing as I cant just get a refund like at Wal-Mart's. Huge Buying point. White's has invested in there reputation. That goes a long ways with me when spending $500+ on anything.
this isn't a slap in the face to the other dealers. I only hope this helps the next guy like me. I walked into some Local stores and they don't know or don't care about me as a customer. so don't bother so much with retail stores excepts it gives you a chance to look at the product.

If money isn't an object to you then this wont mean a lot to you, but for the poor folks like me.. I hope it helps..
Now I didn't want to spend more than 450. Max- period. However I feel comfortable that the extra money I spent on GETTING THE WHITE'S " MXT " Yay!:presents2:
I can easily get the money back if need be with in
reasonable amount of time used. Not to include the pile of KellyCo extra's!! it becomes a No brainier real quick.
I chose the MXT because of the newer technology and options. Although I the M6 would have equally as nice I want a bit more power and options. yes greed came over me a bit.. but i justified it with the alsome resale value. Wouldn't Have learn this with out doing background study and the honesty of a good sales prep. putting his and the Company reputation on the line. which actually closed the sale for me for the most part. Not to include he was the first one thru the door this morning.
Thanks Tony @ Kellyco.
so I guess that puts me in the White Family group.

O and I cut grass for living and no way shape or form am i being paid to print this review sorta speak. I want to thro that out there because I often wondered if.. i was hearing a bias report. yes, I will defend White and wont be bias any longer.. unless i learn differnt.
beside just never know when I might need a favor
also be carful if decide to come to your conculusion, Kellyco products is on 94.5 % of any add that says metal detector!

Shortgrass, you won't be sorry with your Whites. And remember to read the manual over and over, then read it again. Then practice and read and more practice. You can hunt the schools and playgrounds for some good finds... Congrats...Buster....
