Default Pinpointers.. Who's got one?

I'm curious to see if Pinpointers are something that everyone uses.

This weekend will be my first MD-ing so I'm clueless but curious how many people live or die by them.

Thanks

Default i saw a video on one

i would say that they are better for grass cutting and finding stuff under the grass dirt. I do not use one but might when I go for the grass. In the sand I do not have a problem pinpointing with my detector.:merrychristmas:

Yes they speed up land detecting somewhat. helps locate objects in the sides of holes and in clumps.

I did not have one until recently. I grass hunt pretty much all the time. I put the dug dirt on a drop cloth. It for sure speeds up the process of finding a coin on that. I have not used it much in the hole yet.

I have the Vibra Probe. I am very happy with the results, Beale.

I have one and love it, but here's the thing. I think it was important for me to concentrate on learning my Ace250 before I bought another item to learn. I bought my VibraProbe after hunting for six months without it. It has helped, but my Sniper Coil helped me even more. If it's one or the other, you should get the Sniper Coil.

Default Yes !

I have a vibra probe 560...Would not leave home without it. They are good under any kind of circumstances...Grass, Loose Dirt, Sand, Mud:santa1:

P.S. Mac, I just reread your post and see that you said pinpointers NOT probes. On my Ace250 I use the Sniper Coil and believe me the pinpoint is dead on each and every time. Directly in the center of the coil.
