What Is This Tool Called?
I was watching this video pointed out in another thread.
What is the tool that the surface guys are using at about 1:06 Video Player - TravelChannel.com It's like a crowbar w/ a hoe on the end. Thanks Jon

macmonkey, it looks like a fold up Army shovel, the kind you put on a back pack, so you could dig a fox hole when needed.

Yep, It's and Entrenching tool...You can pick them up at any Army Supply Store or at K-Mart or Wal-Mart in the Sporting Section...GREAT tool to have.

Hey BBQ,
I don't think that's what it is - I've got a fold up army shovel. The one in the video is specifically as I described - some type of heavy duty crowbar / hoe hybrid. I guess it's some type of pry-bar.

Their are several variations of the entrenching tool under several names. Some military issue & some private sector.

Beale that looks close to it. I would say it is a diggin tool similar to that for Relic hunters. Pretty much like an entrenching shovel but looks and probably is Lighter.

It looks similar to an item you can find in the garden section at Walmart and other places.
