Default 6X10 on M6

Hello everyone. I'm new on this forum and detecting and just started using an M6. On my first try at a local beach in Connecticut, I kept getting an IRON reading on the display. I'm doing better as I'm learning how to balance for the beach. Would the White's Eclipse 6X10 DD coil be better for a high iron beach, or am I just not setting up my machine properly. My first try got me a clad dime and quarter, and some pull tabs. I guess I'm headed into tab necklace making
Good hunting and clear skies
Ed

Welcome a board Ed. This is the place to be.. I dig a lot of pull tabs and caps on the beach. You never know when they will be a ring. I have also found the famous tent peg . Those things multiply in the sand for sure...Happy Hunting...Buster.....
