Default don't know about it

I did a google search it appears to be made in China a couple of the models look like what's available from Harbor Freight,I have a few tools from them they aren't of greatest Quality, but they are inexpensive, and get the job done....usually. If it were me I'd look for a domestically produced machine on the used market(pawn shops,e-bay,craigslist etc.)

Hey Lando I would stay very far away from that unit. I saw and replied to your other post. Now if you are wanting a true underwater unit the $$ will be higher than you are wanting to spend, Beale.

Default I could be mistaken,

But Schoser has a famous trails metal detector, and it also looks like it could be one mfg by the same company as the underwater detector you'r looking at,(although not the same model) You may want to get his impression of the machine? Of course i may also be mistaken. I was looking at the famous trails website the other day and their machines look a whole lot like the ones I found on that before mentioned chinese mfg'ers website.
