I won an F2 from the last contest and guess who I gave it to??? My Dad He hasn't used it, yet, because it's still too cold, but he has put it together and is quite thrilled with it. Everybody has a shot, for sure.

We are happy to have Ya here Bryan. Yeah there is a whole lot to check out. If ya need any help just ask and someone will help Ya along. I've been here almost a year and I'm still findin new things but then Your talkin to someone that just realized after 3 yrs with my computer that my keyboard had 2 little legs that flip out to keep my keyboard up and not wobble on my table. Good Thing I don't work for NASA. The Treasure Hunts are a Hoot. Everyone has a chance to win one of usually 3 prizes. Can't win if Ya don't play. Then there is also the Monthly Group Buys. Cost $10.00 a chance... $10.76 if Ya use Pay-Pal. Ya can get as many chances as Ya want and depending how many folks get in and chances bought then it goes into the form af a Gift Certificate from one of our Sponsors to wich you can Purchase whatever YA Want. ie.... If 30 tickets are bought then the Certificate is for $300.00. This month I think It got to $330.00. The Sponsor picks the Winning # and Then whoever it is just contacts them and gets what they want for up to what the Certificate is worth. Anyway... Lots of stuff always goin on so Enjoy Yourself.

I have heard great reviews on both the Ace and the F2, Whichever you choose I hope your Dad enjoys the hobby.

Yep, Ace 250 looks like the winner. I will probably be getting it next week for him. He was going to go to RS and get one.

Hi Bryan,
The Ace 250 is a proven winner for sure but the F2 is beginning to have some excellent reviews and was in the dumps a bit when i purchased the F2 had to wait two weeks for delivery and read a few very negative comments on the F2 in that lagtime. Once i started using the F2 i was very pleased with the performance and now finding myself grabbing the F2 very often when heading out to hunt trashy areas. It's giving my M6 a run for the money at trashy sites. HH Bill

Thanks Bill. I have a bit of time to make before I decide. I will keep reading the reviews and listening to the great folks here. When are you going to be making it this way again?
