so new I could bust.
I just got my Bonnty hunter pionier 202 on friday after work. so friday I tres it out in the yard. I found 2 pennies and a old dog chain, big first day. lol
then went to the river on saturday and find 5 tabs, 1 quarter, 2 pennies. After each find I wanted more. I am so new I could bust. I like detecting ,it was fun , relaxing, and was like hunting with out having to kill anything. I liked that. I all ways wanted to try it. I mean before friday I never held a detector before. but I would see older men in parks or on beaches. waving there way along the sand . I would think that might be fun. So now at 39 I am getting todo it myself. Now what do I do? Did I get a ok detector? whats the best place to start? Is there anybody in alabama that does this? think of me starting off , when it was like your first time out box. maybe I'll see you'all out there. good hunting kelroy9

That's the same machine I started out with and I found a lot of old coins with it.

I also have a Pioneer 202 from Bounty Hunter. I have found a-ton of good stuff with mine. Being new, its a perfect machine to start out with. Easy to use and get to know (which is very important) I also used that machine in a seeded hunt a few months back, and I was finding just as much as the high dollar machines were finding.
