Welcome Crock, nice to have a neighbor on board. Like Boobie, I too am 20 min. away in new brighton. There's a lot to be found locally. You've got to keep at it. Don't get discouraged. Read a lot on this forum. Many knowledgable guys here. I know, I've learned alot from them.

thanks Jim, looking forward to the meetings, I have a lot more time on my hands and have really got into detecting, I know the first meeting I went to was great with a good bunch of people, Curt

I use the coin and jewlery mode, I am getting the EXcaliber 12.5 coil , I hope this will take it a little deeper, a lot of people say to detect in relic mode , does this really make a difference??
