Thumbs up Newbie!

Hello to everyone! Great site! I just purchased a Garrett Ace 250 today. Can't wait to try it out. The reviews on this detector sound pretty good considering the cost. I'm new to treasure hunting, so the Ace should do me fine. Sounds like the electronics are the same as the higher priced Garretts, but the nuts and bolts are somewhat cheesier. Maybe that's something I can beef up myself. I live outside of Charlotte NC and hope to make some treks to the beach every now and then and hit the playgrounds, etc.
