What else should I take?

I have never detected before, but have read much of the site and have decided on the Ace-250 as my weapon of choice. What I would like to know is what else experienced hunters carry with them. There has to be some things besides a detector and digging tool that should be carried along. What accesories do you use?

Also, a web site explaining responsible digging technique would be helpful.

I think boobie about covered it ! some might want to change a bottle of water for a six pack Actualy its a good idea to bring a jar of water to place your finds espesialy coins as the dirt tends to harden and placeing them in the water makes for easier cleaning later.
