Talking new to this forum

Hi All;

I am new to this site, but have been MDing for over 35 years. I started with one of those little orange metal detectors when I was 8 or 9 years old. Ihave owned Bounty Hunters, Whites and several Garrett detectors. my last being a GTAx 550. I am going to be getting a new one in the next few weeks and am strongly leaning towards the GTI 1500. I hope to be sharing my einds with you all soon. Also I am in N.W. Iowa

Hi Tim and welcome the TreasureQuestXLT. Please share your years of experience with us. I've been detecting for 31 years myself and have had the pleasure of being able to use hundreds of models over the years. I like the 1500. A solid detector and with the new coil it really fits in as a coinhunter. As much power as the 2500 in an economical setup. Thanks for joining up and if you need any help in your purchase let me know. Maybe we could kick back and tell a tale or two.
