Wink I am so excited!

Hello everyone - I am new to metal detecting. As a matter of fact I am presently waiting for my first metal detector to arrive (Hurry up Tony, LOL). I am sure that I will have a ton of questions. Please be patient with me.

My purcahse was a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV. I bought it for my birthday . I have always wanted one. Now that I am contemplating retirement am looking forward to learning about the machine and having many days to be able to put it to good use.

Any tips anyone might have about the Bounty Hunter Tracker IV I would appreciate. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to TQ JoAnne! And Happy Birthday to you!!!
I have not used the tracker line from BH, but I do have two other BH's that I use as my backups. Main advice up front is to read, read, read, read, then read some more. I have gone over my manuals so many times, I can probably recite some of the pages. That and practice whenever you get a chance to.
If you have any questions about MD'ing, post them here on TQ. There are a ton of great people that are more than ready to answer any questions you may have. Good luck and Happy Hunting.

Eric

Default Happy Birthday

Welcome to a great forum. My son has a Bounty Hunter IV. I have never used it enough to give any advice but I can tell you that he finds a lot of stuff with it. He has used it enough that he can pinpoint pretty well with it. I think you will find it to be a good entry level machine. Look forward to seeing you post all the goodies you find. Good luck.
