Hi there bigred. This is a wonderful hobby that has a lot of rewards from personal satisfaction to finding things which might be of a monetary reward.

What kind of advice do you require? I am sure that you will get good advice on which machine is best for you and how to use it. Where are you from?

The people here will be most happy to answer any questions you might have. Just start asking and you will learn a lot about detecting , plus you will make good friends on here. Most likely you will also find people in your area that are into the hobby that will assist you.
good luck.

Default Hi

Hi and welcome Red. My advice to you would be to buy a fairly decent detector to start out with. Not the top of the line but not the bottom either. You can always turn around and sell it on Ebay if you find the hobby not what you expected. Find that first silver coin or gold ring and you will be hooked. I find hunting very relaxing. Its a new experience every time I hunt a different place. And the research is half the fun if you like history at all. Good luck, we will be waiting to hear about all your great finds.
