I would like to thank everybody on this forum, but not sure if is a good or bad thing yet. it started a couple of weeks ago,i was on the internet looking up something and came across this site i never thought of metal to much but some of your insights and kindness was how should i say fantastic, well after going to bed and dreaming of metal detecting for three nights in a row (?) i can't get off of this site then when i woke up this morning and had that talk with the wife i ordered my first detector the garrett ace 250 i could not go extravagant being my first and did not want to go to cheep did not want it to be my last. i hope i enjoy this sport as much as everybody here does thanks so much.

I'm with Bigjohn, it can be a bit frustrating at times, I went out the other day and did a campground. Bout all I did was add to my tent stake collection, but then came up with a really cool little Matchbox truck at the end.
Get to know your Ace 250 then just go and have a good time in the out of doors. Every outting is a new adventure. Looking forward to seeing what you find... Bob |
