Hi I'm new

Hi Im new here and new to detecting. Today is my birthday and I will take my new metal detector out. I just got the discovery 3300. I am not sure how to use it so wish me luck. When I get back I'll probably have alot of questions like what are good spots to go and Ill let everyone know how my first day of metal detecting went. So wish me luck. And i'll be talking to you guys again soon. bye.

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you. Welcome to a great site. Good luck with the new Discovery. When I first started I was lucky to find a couple of coins hunting for a couple of hours. Learn the detector and soon you will be finding a bunch of coins and stuff. Looking forward to hearing about your great finds
