Thanks everyone,
Like I said, the fact that the couple I'm buying from seems to actually enjoy answering all of my questions and also talking to me about all of their MDing exploits means a lot to me. By the time I finally get it paid out, it will be cooler weather (hopefully) and that will be good. I use digital camera at work so all I need to do is learn how to post pics here on this site. Afraid I'm not very up on that kind of thing.

Steve

Steve - here is an explanation that was given to me on posting pictures. I followed these instructions and did it. If I can do it anyone can do it. Hope this helps. JOAnne

"You need to save the pic, where from your camera or scaner, to your puter, desktop, is a good place.
then go to the site
Below where you write your message to post, click "manage attachments", then click "browse" on the first blank, and find desktop for your puter, then find the pic you want to post, from there, click the pic you want, and then click okay. After you have the pics you want to upload, click upload.
If the pics are to big they will not be accepted
I hope I didn't confuse you"

Thanks JoAnne,
I just printed your message so I will have something to go by when I'm ready to post. Whenever I upload pics from my camera, they go to "MY PICTURES" in my computer.

I forgot to mention that I had considered a Garrett GTAX 750 for $400 before the ACE 250. I just could not find out near as much good feedback on it as the 250.

Also, I've been hearing a lot about good the Sniper Coils are. I guess I should put one of these on my hit list?

Default NEWBIES NEED THE DEALER's ATTENTION.

BEING A NEWBIE, YOU NEED THE EXPERIECE and advice OF THAT DEALER TO HELP YOU OUT AND TO LEARN THE ROPES. Saving money should not be your primary goal right now, not when the lack of a teacher causes frustration which in some cases lead to the detector left in the closet syndrome! Good Luck and hope this helps.....

Yeah, that is how I feel about it for sure. I have spoken to the seller several times and he always gives me so much information that by the time I finally pay out my MD, I will already be pretty much up to speed. Not to mention everyone here on this site. I have to say, and I will be saying it again I'm sure, this is one of the very best sites there is.
