Default Me again with a few more questions

Hi, im the one with the piece of..... well the 100 dollar metal detector :) I have tried 3 different areas one was random wooded area, the other a park and the third a stream bed.So far I enjoy metal detecting and the stream bed was by far the most fun. My question is though if I go back to the stream bed what sennsitivity should I set my detector for, What exactly am I looking for what is my goal to find, I just hope you wont say the best things stream beds can have in them are extremely rusty horseshoes. If thats the case I have conquered the stream bed. So if anyone could awnser my question, or tell me any other places that are good in the springfield ludlow area in MASS, it would be much appreciated.

its alot location. i have got 0 with the minelabs in the past few days. but the r.s 3300 gets stuff in good places. as far as sen. goes it depends on the ground. alot of minerals iron i cut mine back so it doesnt false. but we can find 1800 coins at 4" here. ive been in pines soft ground and had to run on the edge. to go deep. ground balance is very inportant also. if you have it. you cant ground balance on top of a 6"piece of iron. just keep reading you'll get some good hints. as far as stream beds, in them i dont find much. on the banks ive found good relics.(cw) look for a spot not steep. where you could take a horse for water without going down a steep bank.
