Default Long Time.....first Time......

Hello to all from the great state of Texas. I've been reading all the comments about MD'in for some time. Decided I would join your forum. I if you don't mind I will jump in once-in-a-while with a comment or question. I currently have an ACE300. Finding lots of things. Especially with the help of my vibra-probe. I'm semi-retired so have lots of time detect. I've owned the 300 a few years now. But recently really been giving it a workout. Here in N. central Texas where I live, we have the three "terrible H's" to put up with: Heat - Hard Ground - Horrible Fireants.
Winter is the best time to detect. "Gota love those mild Texas winters".
Anyway-I will shutup now and continue reading all the interesting post.

Bye for now................Al aka bloodyknees

Welcome Al!
Glad to have you join us! I totally have to agree with you concerning those three terrible H's... I also have to put up with them here in Southern Louisiana... however I will add a fourth to that list, "hellish mosquito's"!
I am looking forward to hearing all about your finds, as well as seeing the photo's if you are willing to share them with us!

Post Hello

I am REALLLLLY new to this hobby but am looking forward to it..although being from Canada and from SouthWestern Ontario and with winter knocking at the door...I would trade your three H's anytime for my 4 months of DEEEEEP snow, freezing climate, and frozen ground..
