Default Hello

Hi everyone. My name is Tim, I'm from SW VA. I just inhereted A Radioshack 63-3006, And I want to learn to use it. I have been searching for the manual with no luck, But I know it works. I have NO experience metal detecting, I've always found my collectibles by eye and ear. I got my hands on an 1901 indianhead this past Sat. I like collecting and like finding even better.
I've been reading through the forumn, And seems There are some local's here,(I know Felt's park inside n out-hint) and some other good places. Hope to make some friend's, and add to my collection.
Later, Tim.

Heres one of my favorite finds

Found it while swimming in the New River between Independance and Galax. It will attract a magnet, and is pretty heavy.

Hey Tim
I'm new here myself. This hobby gets to be addictive. and sometimes expensive. , well at least in my case. I've been doing the same thing to my wife. Study, study, study. At work, at home. I think I got a little obsessive-compulsive in me.

Anyway. Nice to see you.
