Default just saying hello

I have been MD for a lot of years with an old radioshack md. found a lot of good stuff. i have a new tesoro vaquero (xmas present) , anyone got any tips for the operation of this unit? T ground is froze in n wi now , but am heading to DelRio texas the 28 of dec for 3-4 months so i should be able to detect there. merry xmas and happy new year to all, hope to make some great finds in texas

Geo... I am guessing you are asking specifically for "tips" on the unit, and I am guessing you already have the user manuel, however here is a link to the user manuel just in case you do not have it...
