Hi! I'm new.
Hello. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Adam, I'm 23 and I live in Missouri. I've been collecting coins for a long time, and have been interested in metal detecting as well. For Christmas I was very surprised to get a metal detector from my dad. I've just been playing around with it so far, trying to figure it out. I know nothing about treasure hunting, but I hope to learn. Anyway, I'm glad to be here.

 Hello Adam, and welcome to TQ. You will enjoy it here, for there are great folks here, and there is always someone that will be glad to answer any question you may have, so don't be shy, just ask away.Also, do you live near Springfield, Mo.? If so, we have started a new club in Springfield, called "417 Relic Hunters" and our first official meeting will be on Jan. 2 2007. We would be glad to have you come, and check it out.
