Welcome to the forum!
I am relatively new to this hobby and I have found that it takes practise, practise, and more practise. You will find that the more you use your detector, the better you will get, I know it is working for me.

Default Welcome to TQ

Hello Dirtynails, I'm sure you will find as I have this is the most friendly and helpful site on the internet. I lived about 30 miles west of you for about 27 years (Weldon). Those small town parks were sure good for MDing back then (Have been back home in Tennessee since 1993) The soft rock free soil in Ill sure makes popping a coin out of the ground easy. Places down here you almost need a backhoe to dig a coin. Good luck on your hunts

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I'm really going to enjoy this site. I've already picked up some very good info. Now if someone would just stop rain! It sounds like tommorrow could be good for some land fishing. Happy Hunting to all. Jim
