Smile MDing fever relapse from Tennessee

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I used to MD in the 70's when I lived in Illinois but after I changed jobs and became a truck driver I just never had time for any hobbies. But the "fever" hit me a few months ago so I dug my old Compass out and the darn thing had died. I got a Whites 6000di off ebay and am still learning the machine (its old but they have came a long way since way back then) I have only been able to try it out about three times nothing old yet but I know its just a matter of time. so far I have found 9 quarters,11 dimes,6 nickels, and 33 pennies (all modern) I've been hanging around here for a couple of months and have talked to some really nice people on TQ chat I really enjoy the forums and want to say a special thank you to Free2detect for all the work he has done he has helped me a lot since I'm in research mode untill the weather gets nice. I hope each of you has a wonderful year and find more gold and silver than you can carry. Bye Bye for now Richard (Gizmo)

Hi Gizmo and Welcome to the group!
By the way did you buy that 6000di from a person in PA. I sold a 6000di Pro several months back to a person in Tenn. Thought maybe it was you. I now own an XLT and love it as well. The old 6000 served me well for many years. They are both coin magnets. Good luck with it!

Welcome Gizmo:

I'm new here, too, and have to say it's the "Warmest & Friendliest" Forum I've been to. I think you'll enjoy it here.

I know I do!!
